10 Ways WWE Has Shot Itself In The Foot In 2026

8. The Vision Becoming Midcarders

When Seth Rollins was kicked out of The Vision in October 2025, he was the World Heavyweight Champion. The group were one of the biggest acts on Raw and it was assumed that, when Rollins eventually returned from injury, his rivalry with the stable would be a main event storyline. Instead, WWE spent the next few months making The Vision look like chumps.

It didn't help that both Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed would also go down with injury. Logan Paul (who would also suffer his own injury in May) was parachuted into the group, but despite him being one the company's biggest mainstream attractions, he was treated like an after thought.

Instead of fighting for the world title, Paul and his partner Austin Theory won the tag titles. Their WrestleMania match was a six-minute joke designed to showcase IShowSpeed of all people. When Rollins did come back, he was now so above The Vision, he was forced to fight Gunther at Mania instead.

WWE lost all interest in The Vision as soon as Rollins left and now they feel like an obligation more than an actual threat.
