10 Wild Predictions For What Triple H's WWE Will Look Like In 5 Years
2. Karrion Kross: Universal Champion
Is the 2022 Karrion Kross/Scarlett return story going well?
Do either feel like they belong at the very top of the card? The Roman Reigns spot?
Does Triple H even care?
All reasonable questions at this point, not least considering that, as of this writing, Kross and comeback opponent Drew McIntyre have gone 50/50 with each other thanks to shared spoils from Extreme Rules and Crown Jewels.
And how shared have they even been, really? Kross got the first win thanks to Scarlett using mace, but lost a steel cage rematch because...she didn't use enough of it?! It's presumably all to set up a rubber match that will go the former NXT Champion's way, but is Paul Levesque already looking beyond that?
Reports suggest that WWE have potentially figured out who they want to end Roman Reigns' lengthy tenure as Universal Champion, and Kross could well be the man whether anybody asks for it or not. Few heel World Champions were as rammed down fan throats than Triple H - Kross by comparison to the 2003 vintage of 'The Game' wouldn't even be that egregious.
