7. Edge Vs. Big Show Vs. John Cena (WrestleMania XXV)
By 2009, so much within the upper tiers of the WWE roster that reeked of decay and staleness. John Cena was in his sixth year as wise-cracking hero, Edge was in year five of playing a ruthless, underhanded opportunist, and Show was stale on the virtue of being Show. The only thing that could make this worse was an angle in which nobody looks good. A month before WrestleMania 25, SmackDown GM Vickie Guerrero attempted to book Edge (her kayfabe husband) against Show for the title, without Cena's involvement. That's when Cena interrupted and whispered something in Vickie's ear that prompted the contract signing to be cancelled. That 'something' was the revelation that Vickie, for some reason, was having a tryst with Big Show, which was played more for haw-haw comedy instead of anything that could be taken seriously. Cena as a blackmailer (in a trucker cap and jorts) is a strange animal.
