5. Seth Rollins Vs. Dean Ambrose

WWE have done an uncharacteristically great job with the ongoing Dean Ambrose/Seth Rollins storyline. The way their old alliance ended means that them suddenly deciding to be friends again would've felt jarring at best, and nonsensical at worst. Fortunately, WWE have been able to let the story unfold in a perfectly natural way, cementing their bond with a fateful pre-SummerSlam Shield fist-bump, and pushing it forward with the Raw Tag Team Title win.

While there's an outside chance that we could be heading for a full Shield reunion, an implosion seems likelier. They're cooperating at the moment, but Dean and Seth still have plenty of reasons not to trust each other, and WWE could use them eventually losing the tag titles as the jump-off point for another big feud.

Perhaps it'll be Rollins turning on Ambrose, or maybe Dean will finally embrace his villainous side, and develop a heel character that obliterates the woeful comedy of his 'Lunatic Fringe' persona. Either way, the crowd's current investment in the story means an eventual match between the two should be huge, though it's dependent on WWE maintaining this momentum for another eight months.
