'Mr. Perfect' Curt Hennig was one of the biggest heels in the World Wrestling Federation as the 80s bled into the 90s. He arrived in the company towards the end of 1988, accompanied by some of the greatest vignettes in the history of wrestling no less, and went on a televised undefeated streak that stretched until the summer of 1990. He frequently bragged about his 'Perfect Record', and as such seemed to be building towards an eventual showdown with Hulk Hogan.
