10 Wrestlers Who Have Suffered The Most Since WrestleMania 34

5. Kevin Owens

What is a Kevin Owens?

In the autumn months, the man was a psycho, bloodying his boss with a sick headbutt in a wild SmackDown angle that went nowhere, really, ahead of a Hell In A Cell match opposite Shane McMahon he required the assistance of Sami Zayn to win. From solo psycho to symbiotic relationship, he and Sami, despite their riotous character efforts, were portrayed as dimwits unable to stop themselves stumbling into matches they held a nominal advantage in but still lost decisively.

Has Kevin Owens really suffered since WrestleMania 34, or is life suffering for Kevin Owens?

"Life is suffering, Buddha belly!" is exactly the sort of insult you'd expect a babyface (!) performer to level at Owens, who since 'Mania has travelled a familiar path: either a winner or a loser depending on the direction of the winner, an ostensibly formidable heel act chewed out by authority figures fond of taking comedy bumps for Braun Strowman, all of which tends to result in a sense that he doesn't matter, and, if past precedent is any indication, never will.

Another guy who isn't The Guy, Owens is just there, suffering.
