10 Wrestlers Who Have Unfinished Business With WWE Right Now
3. Dean Ambrose
Top of the agenda for Dean Ambrose right now is getting fighting fit again. The Lunatic Fringe is currently nursing a nasty triceps injury he suffered back in December, and isn't expected to be back in the ring for a further three or four months.
Once he does return, however, his focus will likely turn to changing the perception of him as a B-plus player, one that appears to be held not just by the WWE decision-makers, but by Stone Cold as well (who famously gave him a dressing down during that podcast appearance).
You're on shaky ground when attempt to disagree with Steve Austin on matters of professional wrestling, but this seems to be a little harsh. Ambrose's first title reign wasn't a resounding success, but it was hardly a complete failure either.
Besides, he still has that long-awaited heel turn to come. Should he be the one to ditch The Shield this time, a la Seth Rollins four years ago, then it could very well be him who enjoys a main event push thereafter.
