Mandy Rose is an exceptional talent.

Far removed from the stereotypical diva-esque star WWE have promoted for decades, the former Tough Enough contestant had her coming out birthday throughout 2020. Her relationship angle with Otis was superb, as was her summer story arc vs. former pal Sonya Deville.

She's come on leaps and bounds from an in-ring viewpoint, which is precisely why she is due her first WWE championship. The Women's Tag Team Championships, sadly.

As high as WWE were on Mandy last year, she simply isn't going to become the Raw, SmackDown, or NXT Women's Champion between now and next April, unless she undergoes a miracle and once again becomes Vince McMahon's pet project of the month.

Thus, she and Dana Brooke are the next duo to be handed the women's tag straps, giving both ladies their first run as a champion on WWE's main roster. It helps that they're already somewhat involved in a storyline with current champions Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler, stemming from their match together on last week's episode of Raw. Less of the lol-Mandy-fell-on-her-*ss aspect of the story, though.
