10 Wrestlers Who MUST Win A WWE Title In 2025
10. Carmelo Hayes
Whatever happened to "When Melo shoots, he don't miss" and the era of Carmelo Hayes being able to call himself HIM with the credibility to back up both claims?
Hayes was killing it in NXT as a two time North American champion, the final cruiserweight champion, 2021 Breakout Tournament winner, and the top dog with the NXT Championship, having banger matches and looking like one of the hottest prospects ready for the main roster.
Then, after being the third overall pick to join the SmackDown brand in the 2024 WWE Draft, he's consistently struggled. Every decent win he gets is offset by a loss that undoes all that progress, and his failure to win the United States Championship could be read as WWE stamping him with a "not yet ready in our eyes" mark.
Be it an actual belt like the Intercontinental Championship or a pseudo-title like King of the Ring or Money in the Bank, Hayes is someone who should be in the same boat as Bron Breakker in building up his resume, rather than looking like he's sinking now that he's swimming with the bigger fish in a bigger pond.
