If Jake Roberts was self-reflective and self-loathing, Buff Bagwell was the complete opposite. An over-confident, arrogant buffoon during his incredibly brief stint with WWF/WWE, Bagwell seemed to think the industry owed him a living, rather than recognising that he had to work harder than ever before to remove the stigma that came from being viewed as a WCW guy in WWF territory. Following a match perceived as a disaster by Vince McMahon against Booker T on Monday Night Raw, Bagwell should have knuckled down - just as Booker did - and tried his best to fit into the WWF system. Instead, Buff continued to act the same way he had done during the latter years of WCW, only he couldn't get away with it in his new work place. Unbelievably, Bagwell had his mother call into WWF offices to tell them that he wouldn't be able to make bookings, and started to become little more than a running joke for many in the company, who likely couldn't believe what they were witnessing. Bagwell had a great look, and wasn't as bad inside the ring as his first WWF match suggested, but he definitely ruined things for himself.
