Odds: 7-2 Its understandable if you forgot about Sami Zayn. The former NXT Champion has been sidelined for most of 2015 and likely wont be back until next year. His rise to prominence in 2014 has been overshadowed by the meteoric rise of Kevin Owens this year. But that shouldnt discount Zayns immense popularity and perfection of the role of underdog babyface. He has an innate ability to connect with people and take them along with him on the ride as he suffers and ultimately overcomes. If he can replicate that persona once he recovers, Sami stands a very good shot at becoming a world champion.Sure, theres a little wishful optimism in this ranking, but if he makes a full recovery, theres no reason to think that Sami Zayn wont be hoisting the WWE world title over his head someday.
