10 Wrestlers Who Will Suffer The Most In WWE NXT's New Era

2. Pete Dunne

If Pete Dunne is to suffer in NXT's new era, it'll likely come down to his size. The reports suggest that Vince McMahon is looking for attention-grabbing big men far above the Englishman's billed 5'10".

Although Pete is just shy of his thirties and has proven himself to be a compelling wrestler, that his contract is due to expire after SummerSlam 2021 could provide his WWE exit route. Perhaps Dunne himself will see the writing on the wall and try to ply his trade elsewhere.

Dunne has proven that he works as a long-reigning champion, as seen in his fantastic United Kingdom Championship reign. Seeing him battle for the NXT Title and holding the Tag Team Titles with Matt Riddle - for a short time at least - proved that his size was not a problem for his believability as a dangerous performer.

Unfortunately, fans have years of evidence to suggest that this won't matter to upper management. Even if you dedicate yourself, change your body, get over and do something unique, if you don't fit Vince's model, you're going to struggle.
