10 Wrestling Bouts From Other Promotions That Need Rematches In WWE
10. Austin Aries Vs. Bobby Roode
Though Austin Aries and Bobby Roode - collectively known as 'Dirty Heels' - are most often remembered as a tag team, their partnership was initially born out of a feud. Aries's sole reign as TNA World Heavyweight Champion came when he defeated Roode at Destination X. Aces and Eights interfered in the first rematch between the two, and Aries won a second rematch to retain the title.
This being TNA, it was eventually revealed that Aries paid Aces and Eights off, making him a heel, as well. They continued to feud, going to a no contest in a number one contender-ship match, then both losing in a three-way match with new TNA Champion Jeff Hardy.
Eventually, their rivalry gave way to a partnership. Roode and Aries realized they could get more done together than at each other's throats, and they captured the TNA Tag Team Titles. Their reign wasn't long, but their feuds with Bad Influence and, later, The American Wolves made them a hot commodity.
Now that Bobby Roode has finally debuted for NXT, he and 'The Greatest Man That Ever Lived' can finally revisit their rivalry with a singles match... and then pick up their partnership with another run as tag team champions.
