Now known as Finn Balor in WWE's NXT developmental league, Fergal Devitt was regarded as one of the best pure wrestlers in the world for years before signing with the American juggernaut. Making a name for himself as a Junior Heavyweight sensation in Japan, Devitt also regularly visited Europe on his travels, becoming known as one of the hardest working guys in the industry. 'Smack 'Em Up' follows Devitt on his last tour of Japan, and also takes in a smattering of appearances in the UK. Insane Championship Wrestling is one company Devitt notes quickly became one of his favourite places to work, but the most tearful scenes take place in the Orient, a place the Irishman called a second home. Perhaps the best thing about this piece is just how humble Devitt comes across, and the man seems most comfortable chatting by the sea in his sleepy little hometown of Bray in Ireland. It's here that the main distinction can be made between the overt nature of his Devitt and Balor characters, and the real man behind it all.
