10. Dolph Ziggler Never Wanted To Be 'Next Shawn Michaels'
Whenever Dolph Ziggler is brought up amongst pro wrestling fans, the general question seems to revolve around exactly when WWE will pull the trigger on him. An obviously talented in-ring performer, Ziggler has been around the WWE system since 2004. That means Nick Nemeth has spent over 11 years trying to earn his stripes and crack into the main event scene. Thus far, Ziggler has had only a few short flirtations with the main event pack. He's a featured performer, there's no doubt about that, but Dolph isn't the man in WWE. At 35 years of age, time is running out on the idea that he ever will be the top guy in the promotion, even if he is still an important part of the roster. Due to his overall style and big-bumping approach, Dolph Ziggler has been compared to wrestlers like Curt Hennig and Shawn Michaels. Of similar stature to those men, Ziggler remarkably revealed recently that he never set out to be like either. Singling out Michaels especially, Dolph said he has always simply wanted to be himself, not follow in the footsteps of the WWE legend.
