9. Shawn Michaels Is A Huge Samoa Joe Fan

Once again, the legendary Shawn Michaels has been forced to come out and answer questions over his in-ring future. Trying to put things to bed once and for all, HBK has repeatedly told the media that he will never wrestle a match again. Still, that's not the answer interviewers want.

Attempting to shift focus onto those who are still competing, Michaels told ESPN that he was flattered by AJ Styles putting up a mock Royal Rumble poster on Twitter. As much as Shawn would love to work with AJ, he's retired and isn't coming back at any point.

During the same interview, Michaels offered up a surprise name that he would have enjoyed wrestling. In NXT, Samoa Joe has become a firm fixture, helping shore up the roster when others have moved up to shows like Raw and SmackDown.

That impresses Shawn Michaels, the retired veteran believes he would have worked some magic between the ropes with Joe. Specifically, Joe's thicker body and different style appeals to Shawn, rather than working alongside those like Styles and Dolph Ziggler who draw comparisons.
