3. Lita Says WWE Women's Wrestling Has Dipped Since She Left
2015 has thus far been a year dominated by the WWE Divas, in the headlines at least. Not only have the likes of AJ Lee, Paige and even Alundra Blayze taken the promotion's creative team and management to task for how they treat the women of the company, but former Divas have jumped aboard the bandwagon to give their own two cents on the situation. Most recently, it was Lita who had some words, but they weren't just the stereotypical 'creative don't give the girls enough time' kind of statements. Instead, the former Women's Champion expressed her feeling that women's wrestling in WWE has dipped incredibly since the likes of Trish Stratus and herself stepped away from the ring. Could Lita be slyly masking thoughts that the current crop of Divas don't try hard enough to make a splash? Perhaps that's looking into things a little too much, but it was intriguing to note that the flame-haired beauty didn't really make an effort to defend the current roster, only really saying she was thankful for NXT, otherwise there would be nothing to shout about involving women currently in the promotion.
