It cannot be overstated just how massive it was that WWE handed Sasha Banks and Charlotte the main event slot at Hell In A Cell. For the first time ever, a female match headlined a pay-per-view for the company, something that seemed inconceivable just a few short years ago.

Watching at home, 'Nature Boy' Ric Flair must have been immensely proud of his daughter for living out her dreams in the headline slot. Incredibly, Ric opened up on an episode of his podcast to reveal he was out of the loop in terms of what would happen in the match.

Find out about that story in this week's article, one bringing together a variety of different facts and tales that weren't exactly common knowledge last week.

Joining Ric Flair, there are facts related to the likes of Kurt Angle, Scott Hall, Goldberg, and even Alexa Bliss. In addition, fresh details have come to light regarding Randy Savage's last days in the then-WWF and what the 'Macho Man' wanted to do before hanging up the tights for good.

Let's look at the facts...

10. Alexa Bliss Defied Her Mother's Wishes When Joining WWE

Today, Alexa Bliss is one of the top female performers on SmackDown Live. The 25-year old joined WWE in 2013, immediately reporting to NXT and being trained at the WWE Performance Center. At first glance, Bliss has everything the company would have looked for when referring to women as 'Divas'.

Blonde hair, pretty looks, and a cheerleader-like appearance were all key attributes. Thankfully, Alexa has been able to become valuable to the female revolution in the promotion, improving vastly as an actual in-ring performer. Strangely enough, if Alexa's mother had been able to have her way, Bliss wouldn't have ever even contacted WWE.

During an interview with The Whig to promote upcoming WWE events, Alexa revealed that she simply applied for a company tryout via WWE's official website. Upon telling her mother of her plans, Bliss was met with some resistance.

Outright, the parent didn't really like the idea of her child becoming involved in professional wrestling. Alexa had to defy her mother's wishes, applying to audition at local tryouts in her area regardless. Meanwhile, she kept this from her parents.
