The extent to which WWE has kept its faith in Paige after an injury-plagued twelve months will become clear once the dust on her upcoming biopic settles (which, given the track record of WWE Studios, won't be long after its release).

But alleged controversies of which she has been a part - or, rather, of which she has been the victim - are no reason to hasten her departure from the company, particularly when there is so much potential left unexplored.

The 24-year-old has yet to feud with the likes of Bayley and Alexa Bliss, for example, and with both the women's divisions already resorting to endless rematches so quickly after the April roster shake-up, another genuine title contender - which the Brit was, prior to her injury - is sorely lacking.
