10 Wrestlers Who Came Back From The Dead

8. Abdullah The Butcher

Listen to Dusty Rhodes talk about the infamous 'Chamber Of Horrors' match in WCW, and it's likely that you'll laugh your head off along with the 'American Dream'. The idea was to create something befitting of the Halloween Havoc Pay-Per-View series, and in 1991, that meant going as campy as possible! WCW was going through a weird time, Halloween Havoc '91 played out more like an episode of Scooby Doo than it did a serious show. The set was like something from an episode of Goosebumps, and even the announcers were in fancy dress, fitting with the Halloween theme. In the match, a cage surrounded the ring. Right in the middle of the ring, there was a separate 'chamber' one which housed a fully-fledged electric chair. The idea was simple (in theory), the two teams - including names such as The Steiner Brothers, Sting and Big Van Vader - would fight to get an opponent onto the chair, before flipping a switch and electrocuting them.Another competitor, Abdullah The Butcher, would wind up in the seat, before Cactus Jack accidentally flipped the switch on his own partner (even though the camera showed the switch as being 'On' anyway), apparently killing him. It's as bizarre as it sounds, and this was only the opening match!
