10 Wrestling Worst Nightmares Right Now
2. Jon Moxley Returns To WWE
Feels impossible this one. But everything is until it's done.
Moxley has - over and over again - proven himself a man of incredible resolve, honour and resilience since parting company with WWE in 2019. Wisely betting on his ability beyond Vince McMahon's understanding of it, the former Dean Ambrose lit New Japan Pro Wrestling on fire before becoming a proven ratings and pay-per-view draw (by modern standards) as All Elite Wrestling's gloriously heroic babyface World Heavyweight Champion.
His follow-up beyond a rematch with Kenny Omega remains unknown, and though he's proven himself vital everywhere he goes and not greedy for more cash than he needs, may the bloated and loaded WWE find that figure for the good of the inevitable Shield do-overs?
They'd need more than just a few extra zeroes to sell him on satisfaction working under Vince McMahon again, but more shocking returns have happened in the past, and for more money than Moxley may need to throw on a flack jacket and throw down with The Undisputed Era or whichever brand new force could threaten the 'Hounds Of Justice'.
