Blake Monroe currently holds the NXT Women's North American Championship, which should at least put her sometime in 2026 before she can drop that title and move up to the main roster. Of course, that implies she doesn't also get a run with the NXT Women's Championship as well, which could put her into waiting until 2027 or even later.

But she's another example of someone who makes you wonder what more WWE thinks she needs before she can be "ready" for Raw or SmackDown, given she was even the top woman in AEW for many months.

Is her character going to evolve much in NXT? Should it, even? Is she lacking in her in-ring skills, somehow, even though she's as crisp as the main roster talent?

She hasn't been in NXT long, but there's no rule that states someone has to go through that system for a certain amount of time.

There are bigger feuds worth having for Monroe than what is offered right now in NXT, as she should be fighting stars like Charlotte Flair, Rhea Ripley, and Alexa Bliss, rather than the same women who will come up with her and be stuck feuding with them again for years to come.
