10 WWE NXT Main Roster Call-Ups That NEED To Happen In 2026

3. Ethan Page

Let's be blunt: as much potential and talent as some other former AEW stars like Lexis King and Shawn Spears have, there's no denying Ethan Page has far surpassed what those two have accomplished in NXT combined.

From the onset, he's been treated like a big deal, capturing the NXT Championship in record time and now holding both the NXT North American Championship and the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship alongside SmackDown's Chelsea Green.

They play off one another so well that if Page were to be announced as a SmackDown star today, he'd fit right in, outside of needing to drop at least the NXT title. But even being given those three title reigns in the first place proves WWE thinks he's trustworthy, responsible, and a draw.

Combine those with his level of experience and his age (36), he should be a fresh face in the midcard to upper-midcard scene of the main roster now, rather than to be kept as a guardian for the rookies to learn from until he's past his prime.

A partnership and/or feud with The Miz, a run with the Intercontinental Championship, matches with Sami Zayn, and a feud with Cody Rhodes are just some of the ideas that immediately spring to mind.
