"Rusev Day" hijinks aside, everyone's favourite Bulgarian Brute has been treated shabbily in WWE for too long now. Though he's become a tad more interesting as a comedic character, Rusev doesn't get to show the amusing relationship he has with his wife, Lana.

Whenever Rusev and Lana are together on screen, it's usually serious (Mixed Match Challenge aside).

The MMC should clue WWE's writers in on what they're missing. On Instagram, the couple are a riot, and most of the humour derived from their posts comes from Rusev's captions. For example, for the above picture, Ru-Ru said, "with my tighty-whities trying to read and wife @thelanawwe acting like a child".

In another, he makes breakfast in bed for Lana and reassures followers that he didn't get any chest hair in the eggs. It's this kind of zany behaviour that shows the lighter side of their relationship, and it's baffling that WWE don't capitalise on it.
