10 WWE Stars Primed For Big Success In 2016

3. Sami Zayn

Sami Zayn was due to be called up to WWE's main roster this year and given what would have been a big babyface push. However, a serious shoulder injury meant those plans never went ahead. With the talented thirty one year old now on the cusp of a return, the plans can be put back in place. He'll likely do a bit of time back on NXT then come up to Raw. A major feud with Kevin Owens makes a lot of sense, as they had unfinished business from their time on WWE's developmental brand. There's also the fact that they have great chemistry and always produce stellar matches, too. Beyond that, expect to see Zayn become a leading babyface on the main brand. He's naturally likeable and has similarities to Eddie Guerrero in his ring work. In short, he's going to get over big - it's just a matter of 'when' not 'if'.
