10 WWE Stars Who Are Unhappy Right Now

10. The Revival

The Revival are in a strong bargaining position, which underscores just how much things are changing.

Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson are a tag team, which knackered them from the jump. They are also deeply proud of being a tag team. They are also brazen in their mission statement of reviving southern style tag team wrestling. Their act is perfectly calibrated to annoy Vince McMahon. True to form, Vince has promoted the duo with a sad but thoroughly unsurprising apathy, and this has only intensified their resolve to leave.

There is a classic, lucrative programme waiting for them opposite the Young Bucks. Aware of this, WWE refused to grant their release, and "rewarded" the pair with a token RAW Tag Team Title run. Brilliantly, the Revival have buried this push, advising parents the land over never to encourage this poisoned childhood dream. No flips and indeed no f*cks, Dash and Dawson recently cosied up to an AEW fan for a photo opportunity at a house show, astutely marketing themselves as defiant in the face of the machine that has crushed them.

Entitled but deserving, the Revival are breaking the stigma of the browbeaten, lamentable modern WWE Superstar - with timing as perfect as their much-missed cut-off spots.
