10 WWE Stars Who Came Out Of The Wilderness
9. John Morrison
How They Entered The Wilderness:
Johnny Hennigan/Nitro/Morrison had enjoyed a simmering WWE career, earning multiple titles and even winning the third season of Tough Enough.
The man had the look and could go in the ring, utilising his parkour background to create innovative offense.
In 2011, citing a need for more control over his own time, Morrison rejected a three year deal and took time to heal his neck injury before spreading his wings on the indies. But first he was given a skull crushing finale by his former partner, The Miz.
How They Came Out:
Listen, this ain't no make believe!
After leaving the company eight years ago, the news has broken that John Morrison is set to return to the big time.
After being trampled into the ground - creatively and physically - before his decision to leave the company all those years ago, The Shaman Of Sexy went on to forge a masterful independent career in promotions such as Lucha Underground, Impact and other smaller indie groups - proving how much he'd been led astray in the WWE.
It's obviously too early to know where and how Morrison will be used, but fans the world over are frothing at the mouth with the thought of potential dream matches.
Surely that makes this a no-brainer deal, already?
