10 WWE Stars Who Need To Follow Neville Out Of The Exit Door
2. Cesaro
Things are looking up for Cesaro; as a linchpin of the excellent RAW doubles ranks, he is a firm fixture of the upper PPV midcard in 2017. He stole the show on the last RAW-brand special, and looks certain to complete the brace at TLC as part of what promises to be a furniture destroying, critical acclaim-drawing, Roman Reigns-protecting blast of a titular main event.
But we've been here before. WWE has taught us many valuable life lessons. Foreign people are automatically evil. Entrance music casts a hypnotic spell. Vince McMahon is immortal. Cesaro will never receive the singles push of which he is evidently deserving.
What else does the Swiss Superman need to do? He has wrestled the best RAW matches this decade opposite John Cena and Roman Reigns. He wrestles a state of the art and popular style but possesses the astonishing physicality of a larger than life wrestling star. He passes both airport and smark tests, essentially. He is all things to all men, but only one man counts - Vince McMahon - and that man has the bad kind of hard-on for Cesaro, in whom he doesn't see top-line potential.
The prospect of an unleashed Cesaro tearing up the Tokyo Dome is as alluring as the prospect of a post-Bar Sheamus singles push is unavoidable.
