10 WWE Superstars Who Are Failing (But Shouldn't Be)

8. Big E

It would seem that dropping the €œLangston€ from Big E€™s ring name neutered his momentum in the process. While the name change likely had nothing to do with his stall, there is no questioning that the former Intercontinental Champion has hit a bit of a roadblock. The live crowd at Extreme Rules 2014 was not kind to him, rallying behind heel Bad News Barrett en route to Big E losing the IC Title. So what happened? Like Damien Sandow, Big E simply doesn€™t stand out in the shadow of the top stars on RAW. With rising star Cesaro already wowing crowds weekly with impressive feats of strength, Big E needs to find some other way to separate himself from an increasingly large crowd of midcarders. In 2014 WWE, a performer needs a whole lot more than impressive strength or catchy music to get ahead of the curve. While Big E€™s work ethic is commendable, he should take a page from IC Title successor Bad News Barrett€™s playbook and consider a character makeover.
