7. Hulk Hogan

In the main event of WrestleMania VI, Hulk Hogan dropped the WWE Championship to The Ultimate Warrior, and the new champion was supposed to be the torch-bearer for the WWF in the '90s, just like Hogan had been in the '80s. The plan for Warrior didn't work out the way it was drawn up - in no small part down to Hogan from making sure his "spot" as the company's top babyface was secure.

Immediately following the loss, Hogan's facial expressions, mannerisms, and dejected behavior helped garner sympathy on the side of the now-former WWF Champion. When The Hulkster presented Warrior with the belt and took the long ride back in his mini-ring cart, fans paid more attention to the loser than the winner. Needless to say, it didn't exactly get Warrior's run off on the right foot.

Toronto was the home of WrestleMania VI's Ultimate Challenge, as well as Hogan's long-awaited return to WWE at WrestleMania X8.

Twelve years later, Hogan would again lose in the SkyDome. Succumbing to The Rock, the Hulkster pulled out the same post-match performance that he perfected back in 1990. It helped change Hogan back into a babyface, and once again made sure he prevailed in defeat.
