10 WWE Superstars Who Are Being Totally Overlooked

10. Sami Zayn

Sami Zayn had a stellar run in NXT with a series of match of the year candidates against opponents like Kevin Owens, Finn Bálor, and Shinsuke Nakamura. Unfortunately, a poorly timed injury halted any momentum he might have gained on the main roster, and while he's been able to shine in a few different rivalries since then, his heel turn has sadly turned this once promising potential world champion into a blow hard mouthpiece for other Superstars.

It was recently revealed that Zayn isn't injured and is cleared to compete; unfortunately, WWE has no creative plans for him, hence why he's now serving as a manager every Friday night rather than stealing the show in the main event.

Vince McMahon seemingly doesn't rate Zayn, and while he's clearly gifted on the microphone, there's so much more he could and should be doing on SmackDown each week. It probably doesn't help that Owens overshadowed him in a big way when they first started feuding on RAW, but making Zayn a babyface again and letting him have a noteworthy singles run could help save his career before fans write him off as just another annoying heel.
