10 WWE Superstars Who Better Call Paul (Heyman)

By Jamie Kennedy /

1. Zack Ryder

In 2015, Zack Ryder is so far down the pecking order in WWE that it's almost frightening - this is the same man who showed quite brilliant initiative to get himself over in 2011, which led to fans demanding the man be featured on shows. WWE obliged, before scarily wielding the axe, and dropping Ryder from main programming, in what was almost a display of power from the company over its fanbase. Just a few years ago, Ryder was one of the most over acts on the wrestling landscape, but now he's on life support, desperately seeking something else which will carry him back to the big time. Paul Heyman doesn't have all the answers, and it's difficult to see what even he can do with someone who did use their own creativity to get over, only for the company to shut the door on him. With that said, Heyman could help Ryder if he were placed with the 'advocate' of Brock Lesnar as personal security. Let's not pull any punches, Curtis Axel was a miserable failure as a 'Paul Heyman Guy', as was Ryback. Heyman is no miracle worker, but Ryder could get some more attention, and rebuild his career, by association with him. What else does he have to lose? His career is going nowhere fast, so no idea should be discounted. What other current WWE stars do you feel could benefit from the advice of Paul Heyman?
