10 WWE Superstars Who Better Call Paul (Heyman)

2. Sheamus

Yet another example on this list of wrestlers who initially seemed destined to permanently reside at the top of the card, Sheamus hasn't been in the World Title hunt for quite some time now. It's another poor showing for the WWE creative team that the current reigning WWE Champ, Brock Lesnar is miles ahead of guys like Sheamus. A few years ago, Sheamus vs. Lesnar would have peaked at least some interest, but it'd be treated as little more than a routine win for The Beast nowadays. The big Irishman is struggling to stand out, even though he has a undeniably unique look, excels in long, multi-segment matches, and does actually have some personality. If rumours are to be believed, it's Kevin Dunn hasn't exactly scored one for the Sheamus team, remarking that he's not a fan of different accents. If true, that's a very poor reason to abort someone's push. Again, in Paul Heyman-led eras, someone like Sheamus would be pushed because they are different, but it doesn't look like the man is getting anywhere close to the main event any time soon. Conversing with Heyman about how he can better accentuate his strengths would be advisable.
