10. Move On From Vince McMahon

First thing's first, it's time to put down the elephant in the room.

The only way for this to feel like a new era for the WWE, is for them to move on from Vince McMahon as quickly as possible. This writer isn't asking for a 'WCW New Blood reboot' scenario. Far from it. Creatively, things will take time to move in a new, refreshing direction and anyone who expected Johnny Gargano to slide into the main event of SummerSlam and beat both Reigns and Lesnar is kidding themselves.

But Vince McMahon needs to be left in the past.

Stephanie McMahon has already been to the ring and led the tributes to her father, and the WWE Universe has already showered him with their thanks. That has to be the end of it. No more tributes or rah-rah speeches that threaten to undermine the seriousness of the allegations against him.

As crowd popping as it was on Monday Night Raw, the snide comments alluding to Vince's departure can also stop. Yes, Reigns got a loud cheer when he told Theory that 'daddy isn't here anymore'. But the only way to truly move the WWE juggarnaut in a new direction is to leave Vince where he belongs.
