11 Burning Questions For WWE Raw (April 11th)

2. Will Shane Continue To Run Raw?

Shane McMahon lost at WrestleMania. He lost. You could be excused if you missed Mania and saw him running Raw Monday night and were confused.

WWE (and in storyline, Vince McMahon) chose to ignore the stipulation attached to the match and allowed Shane to run Raw last week. As a program, Raw wasn’t bad, but the episode after WrestleMania often is tough to screw up too badly. Considering that Shane promised a new era and a new direction for Raw if he was in charge, having him preside over the introduction of three NXT call-ups and the return of Cesaro was a good move (putting aside the absurdity of everything else associated with the storyline).

But was that it for Shane? Will Vince turn around and say he was pleasantly surprised at his son and let him run the show again? Or was that it for the younger McMahon? There’s no storyline reason that Shane has to be in charge, so it’s all up to the powers that be. And even if Shane is in charge, does that mean there will be a “new direction” for Raw?
