11 Most Disappointing Things About WrestleMania 33
11. The Lack Of Elaborate Entrances
One of the most notable things about 'Mania is how the promotion delivers elaborate entrances for their top stars. WrestleMania 31 particularly stands out as a show filled with amazing ones, and every year we have at least a handful of epic walk-ins..
This year that was not the case at all.
In fact, there was really only one that could be considered memorable, and it was of course Triple H's. Led by a caravan of police escorts, Hunter rode down on a gigantic chopper, Stephanie sitting menacingly behind him. But outside of this, there were no noteworthy entrances. Meanwhile, Seth Rollins did nothing more than come out wielding a torch, which he used to “light” the entranceway. With his new “Kingslayer” gimmick we were expecting perhaps a Game of Thrones-themed entrance. Nope.
Could it be that the massive 80-yard ramp to the ring hampered the ability to craft any grandiose entrances? Maybe the ridiculous money spent building the stage ate up the budget that could have been used on them.
Regardless, it was a bummer to be deprived of one of the details with which 'Mania sets itself apart from the other shows on WWE’s calendar.
While we’re on the subject of the Triple H match…
