There are fewer underneath guys on NXT that have managed to get over as well as Bronson Reed and Isaiah 'Swerve' Scott since the black-and-gold brand moved to USA Network. Pairing them against one another here highlighted why.

Reed's the type of character that will always benefit from smaller venues thanks to his stocky and "thicc" look. Permitted to play the giant without having traditionally awe-inspiring size, he's been hugely enjoyable in these short showcases.

Swerve remains one of the best things going in NXT. Wildly popular with the locals for all the right reasons, he's working for the cheap seats already despite Full Sail's only being about six rows back. His recent run of form wasn't halted by the different dynamic created by the size disparity - he was instead forced to express some ingenuity when all looked perilous.

Scott nailed the House Call for the win after nearly 12 minutes - in finish and run-time, this was a show of faith as much to the loser as it was the ever-improving winner.
