The future of the WWE championship!

At the Tables Ladders And Chairs pay per view last December, the World and WWE Championships merged into the WWE World Heavyweight Championship when Randy Orton defeated John Cena. Now that there is only one world title in the mix for the WWE, not only is the belt more important, but so is the chase for all of the wrestlers who are trying to obtain it. Since August, the Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar has been champion. The impressive and dominant fashion of how he won the title from John Cena definitely makes it an uphill battle for anyone to snatch the title from Lesnar. As we head to November, it is time to look ahead to the next year. There are so many different possibilities of who will be the WWE World Heavyweight Champion to start the year. John Cena has earned the #1 contendership to embark in a fourth chapter of his battles with Brock Lesnar. Rumour has it that they will face off at the Royal Rumble, and when you throw Seth Rollins into the mix, we could have three possibilities for champion to start the year. This article is going to take a look at 11 'dark-horse' candidates that could become the WWE World Heavyweight Champion in 2015. The list is obviously going to omit the obvious such as John Cena, Randy Orton, Daniel Bryan, and even the Money In The Bank winner Seth Rollins. Though Rollins has never had a title match, the odds definitely favour the briefcase holder to become champion. This will be a mixture of guys who have been in the title picture before, some who have never been, and some who have actually held the championship before. Without further ado, let's take a look at eleven superstars who could be thrust into the spotlight next year.
