11 WWE Superstars Who Were Given Huge Contracts

7. The Great Khali

Oh dear. The Great Khali - easily the worst worker on this list but still one who was paid handsomely during his WWE tenure. In fact, rather than just being the worst worker on this list, Khali is one of the very worst wrestlers the business has ever seen. Yet he still managed to end up with a 5-year contract that saw a guaranteed $974,000 hit his bank account each year. The Great Khali took home close to a million dollars per year during his WWE run. Just let that sink in for a minute€ Still sinking in? Yep, the mind boggles. In Khali€™s defence (if that€™s possible), he is literally a God-like figure in his home country of India, and the WWE€™s plan was for Khali€™s presence to increase the company€™s global fanbase in certain regions. He€™s also got plenty of film credits to his name and there are very few talents out there that have the size of Khali. Still, at the end of the day, he was absolutely horrendous in the squared circle and would end up in a comedy role during his last few years with the company€ all whilst getting the pay of a main eventer.
