10. Fatal 4-Way For The Intercontinental Championship (2001)
The 2001 No Way Out is not-so-arguably the greatest in the event's 11-year history and the Fatal 4-Way match for the Intercontinental Championship between Chris Jericho, Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero is a fine example of why. For months, Y2J had found himself embroiled in rivalries with Benoit, Guerrero and X-Pac so by the time that February rolled around, it was only logical to bring all four Superstars together for a gigantic bout, the coveted IC title on the line. All competitors being tremendously talented professional wrestlers, the match was a thing of beauty, all involved delivering strong performances en route to a finished product that, on any other card, would have been a show-stealing, Match of the Night candidate. One of the more underrated matches of that entire year, the bout that saw Jericho again retain his title is a reminder of just how great the midcard during the early years of the 2000s and, more importantly, how stacked the roster was for those four men to be in that position.
