As WWE's two most pushed stars, it makes sense for Cena and Reigns to go against each other. It is something that they can build for months in advance, generating the necessary interest to fill such a huge setting. The long build up proved to be very lucrative for Cena against Rock at Mania 28 and that's the same sort of effect that WWE can shoot for with Reigns.
