WWE can't be held accountable for much for it, but here's where Lars Sullivan's push went wrong in 2019:-

January: The poor fella is forced to leave a Raw taping ahead of his intended debut after suffering a reported anxiety attack. He doesn't return to television until three months later, when he mauls Kurt Angle.

May: A massive thread highlighting his problematic online activity prior to signing with WWE sparks mass controversy. WWE are eventually forced to fine him $100,000 and force him to apologise to the locker-room while his televised character runs out of steam, with Lars repeating the same beatdown segment every week.

June: Sully participates in an awful 3-on-1 handicap bout against the Lucha House Party, taking a heatless DQ victory that did nothing to benefit him or his opponents. Three nights later, he suffered a disastrous knee injury that puts him out for the rest of the year.

A poisonous cocktail of poor booking and problems that couldn't be helped, 'The Freak' has had a terrible year, despite performing with convincing intensity early on. Here's hoping he recovers.
