15. Apollo Crews Stagnates

Despite an impressive physique and excellent ring ability, Apollo Crews’ debut year in WWE has to be categorized as a disappointment.

Crews was a much ballyhooed signee to NXT last year and debuted in developmental to great fanfare. He spent less than eight months in NXT, impressing fans but falling short of winning a title there. He was one of the post-WrestleMania call-ups this spring and immediately entered into a feud with the Social Outcasts being drafted to SmackDown. There, he was in the conversation for a world title shot and garnering a couple Intercontinental Championship matches.

However, Crews has not really established much of a presence, nor has he had a memorable feud in his eight months on the main roster. This slow start has to be a source of disappointment for the company.
