There was a lot of laughter amongst the pro wrestling community when reports started leaking that Sean Waltman had injured his anus. That's perhaps understandable, given the comical nature of the injury, but the real story is anything but funny. Working an independent date in 2013, Waltman performed his trademark 'Bronco Buster' move in the corner. His opponent - Jerry Lynn - moved, a spot that's become common in the man's act. Landing crotch first on the corner turnbuckle, an exposed part of the ring literally tore his anus. There was a lot of blood, much of which soaked into his ring gear. Taken to hospital, the man actually feared that he may be killed by the injury. Thankfully, that wasn't the case, and he was able to heal up fairly quickly. Even so, it must have been an eye-opening moment for him. The seemingly innocuous move is one Waltman had performed hundreds, if not thousands, of times before. On this one night, the safe spot very nearly became the most dangerous one he'd ever attempted.
