12 WWE Criticisms That Make No Damn Sense

2. "Cena Sucks! Cena Sucks!"

There is a contingency of fans, a large one actually, that has not quite figured out that hating John Cena stopped being cool in 2006. Since then, all of the big boys and girls have grown up and moved on with their lives, instead opting to appreciate Cena for the phenomenal in-ring performances he turns in on a regular basis. "You can't wrestle" chants have dissipated and the 15-time world champion has cemented himself as one of the greatest Superstars of all-time, his penchant for delivering legitimate Match of the Year candidates against performers of varying skills, sizes and positions on the card his greatest strength. Those who still chant "Cena sucks" make no sense, especially considering the fact that they are typically the same fans who want little more than outstanding wrestling matches. It is hypocritical at best, their ignorance clouding their judgment of Cena as a performer. Sure, he may not look like the prototypical (winky face) wrestler but there is no denying how many legitimate classics he has been part of over the last decade. No argument made in favor of the West Newbury native is going to change the minds of those fans who continue to rain down on the franchise star with a passionate chorus of boos every time he steps foot inside the squared circle. When he hangs up the boots and steps away from the industry he has carried on his back for the last 10 years, fans will finally appreciate him for everything he did for them and the betterment of wrestling as a whole.
