Sheamus gets a lot of criticism from the fans, and to this day Im not sure why. Its possible that its due to the push he received from a very early stage, long before hed been given a chance to develop as a member of the roster, and in turn, allow him to grow on us, but that problem never really happened for the likes of Brock Lesnar. It didnt take long for the bulk of Roman Reigns heat to die down after WrestleMania either, so Im not so sure. I get that Sheamus babyface character became stale fast during his 2011-2014 run, and many felt that his win-loss record in that time was undeserving, but youd expect fans to give him a chance now that hes back, and arguably more entertaining than ever before, with a new attitude, and a new look. Nope, instead fans raged when Sheamus won the Money in the Bank Ladder Match, and as a huge fan of The Celtic Warrior, it definitely feels like youre in the minority when you try to commend the man on Twitter for anything from his ever-consistent ring work, to his great heel performances.
