Matt Hardy's Andre The Giant Battle Royal victory came with the able assistance of his ally Bray Wyatt after the 'New Face Of Fear' emerged from his long swim in the Lake Of Reincarnation more reinvigorated than reborn.

Nothing about his visual appearance suggested he'd evolved from his long-dormant token weirdo persona other than the fact he now seemed happy to subscribe to whatever nutcase newsletter 'The WOKEN Warrior' farts out from his compound.

Hardy and Wyatt tweeted a post-match picture with the trophy and long-standing BROKEN Universe collaborator Jeremy Borash perhaps in celebration of what the gimmick had done for all three of them.

The *cough*...impact on Borash is currently most evident - he has secured a job with the largest wrestling organisation in the world after grafting his b*llocks off for one of the smallest for 15 years. The continued latter career success for Hardy following his brave facelift has afforded a victory that has little meaning in the grand scheme of things but a level of trust and respect below the surface.

And as for Bray, this latest chapter may not completely salvage his dead weight but the 'Eater Of Worlds' may at least snack again at the top table, if not manage to permanently dine.
