"The End Of An Era" took place at WrestleMania 28. The 19-0 Undertaker did battle with Triple H in a Hell in a Cell match that was refereed by Mr. WrestleMania, Shawn Michaels. HBK had significant ties to both men. The Undertaker was a primary rival for most of his career, and the man who retired him, while HHH was his best friend, but also one of his fiercest rivals. It was a rematch of WM 27, where Taker defeated HHH, but was unable to leave under his own power. HHH repeatedly denied the Deadmans request citing his motivations as an executive as the main reason. However it all changed when The Undertaker told HHH, that Shawn Michaels was always better than him. Subsequently, as Metallicas The Memory Remains played in the background, The Undertaker, HHH, and Shawn Michaels told perhaps the best in ring story of all-time inside the confines of the cell. It was almost as if we were looking at all 3 mens careers being defined long after they cemented who they were. After false finishes, chair and sledgehammer shots, The Undertaker put HHH away with a Tombstone Piledriver to claim his 20th straight WrestleMania win. Who Was The Crowd Cheering? The Undertaker.
