After proving that he's a more-than-capable actor on the wonderful Love, Simon last year, Josh Duhamel is now turning his hand to directing on this WWE Studios production.
It's set to star Olivia Munn, Neal McDonough, Dax Shepard, Jensen Ackles and Nick Swardson (among many others, seemingly), with the familiar red-headed form of Sheamus involved in a more minor role.
The film, which is written by Duhamel, follows a group of friends who challenge each other to "a wild assortment of absurd physical and mental challenges," which sounds like its ripe for comedy potential. The fact that Sheamus is playing someone called "Thursty" presumably means he's not going to be a serious figure. Let's just hope he's not a drunk Irish stereotype with that name though, eh?
