In this hard-hitting drama, Adam Hampton stars as Scott Conway, a former Major League Baseball player who returns to the Texan home of his upbringing to confront his abusive step-father, James Devine (Shawn Michaels).
With his wrestling career apparently over now, Michaels has ramped up his movie appearances with his roles in similarly small productions like The Resurrection of Gavin Stone and The Marine 6: Close Quarters recently. And this is a step away from the kind of role you'd expect from him (even with his flair for heelish behaviour) and should be enough of a challenge to really show whether he has the required chops to make acting a more permanent gig.
It certainly looks like an interesting watch and almost feels like an HBO drama, the way it's being marketed.
